Whoa!

A hush fell over the woods in rural America, as this fire eyed bandito skulked around in quest of something delicious. It's eyes were blazing because the light was fading and the auto flash decided the capture needed the extra light. His silky gray coat glistened in the waning light as he pointed himself in the direction of the bird feeder suspended on a steel post. Now I know who the mysterious culprit is who has single handedly bent the post to the ground on more than one occasion.

Sunshine in Chicago

Near Summer like temperatures are bringing hordes of Chicagoans to the great outdoors. Here is a prominent member of the Chicago City Council with two of her aides, striking a pose on a Lake Michigan Beach. As you can see, catching a few rays is serious business.

Gate to Heaven appears

For a scant few moments, the Gate to Heaven appeared in the Uptown area of Chicago. Only the purest of heart were allowed entrance through the portal for, what was confirmed to be, a one way trip.

Mother Trucker

Say "Hello" to the toothy smile of the front end of a 1946 Chevrolet flat bed truck. Found in the field of a local farm in SW Michigan, this retired behemoth is resting and rusting in a field near a barn as an eerie reminder of harvest's gone-bye.

Das Boot

Rural America was rocked by an invasion of 'small prickly things' over the weekend. Near panic was reported in several small towns as residents dealt with the infestation of unearthly pods. One rural resident was disgusted by their appearance, and refused to touch them.

Smells like. . .

My guess would be the coffee break room at the neighborhood Victoria's Secret.

Floral fauna trumpets Spring

Gardeners everywhere are rejoicing as Mother Nature fires her first magical load, and the countryside is dotted in color and fresh air. Proof evident is this champion Maltese pup, taking pause to inhale some of that rare air.

All of this madness is conducted under the watchful eye of the kingdom's noble steed, Doc.

Things appear from ground

Happy Spring time. In what appears to be divine intervention or Chernobyl backlash, snow has finally left the Midwestern United States and small items are growing from the soil. Proof evident, this trio of flowers and a singular snail nearby. One longs for a garlic butter sauce and that strange spoon that looks like something you would find in a bikers saddle bag.
