Whoa!

A hush fell over the woods in rural America, as this fire eyed bandito skulked around in quest of something delicious. It's eyes were blazing because the light was fading and the auto flash decided the capture needed the extra light. His silky gray coat glistened in the waning light as he pointed himself in the direction of the bird feeder suspended on a steel post. Now I know who the mysterious culprit is who has single handedly bent the post to the ground on more than one occasion.

Sunshine in Chicago

Near Summer like temperatures are bringing hordes of Chicagoans to the great outdoors. Here is a prominent member of the Chicago City Council with two of her aides, striking a pose on a Lake Michigan Beach. As you can see, catching a few rays is serious business.

Gate to Heaven appears

For a scant few moments, the Gate to Heaven appeared in the Uptown area of Chicago. Only the purest of heart were allowed entrance through the portal for, what was confirmed to be, a one way trip.

Mother Trucker

Say "Hello" to the toothy smile of the front end of a 1946 Chevrolet flat bed truck. Found in the field of a local farm in SW Michigan, this retired behemoth is resting and rusting in a field near a barn as an eerie reminder of harvest's gone-bye.
